Public hearing in SP gathers mothers to discuss state violence

USP (University of Sao Paulo) Law School will host an event that will take place this Thursday (18th May), starting at 10 am

On Thursday (18th of May), the Independent Mothers of May Movement will hold a public hearing titled; “Listen to mothers: Voices of pain and the fight against state violence”, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, in the Great Hall of the Faculty of Law in USP.

The event has the support of Conectas, Cordão da Mentira, SAJU (University Legal Advice Service) and Academic Center XI de Agosto. The hearing will be part of the incidence calendar on struggle movements, most especially, for humanized care lethality cases in the State.

Participating in the hearing are; Isadora Brandão, from the Ministry of Human Rights, Marivaldo Pereira, from the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, lastly, Marcelle Decothe, from the Ministry of Racial Equality.
