It is essential to recognize the environment as a fundamental human right and to support indigenous people, quilombolas, riverside dwellers and peasants - the true guardians of the forest, in their struggle for rights and peace in the field.
The impact of large-scale business activity must be mediated by the state with transparent public policies for environmental and the affected communities protection, throughout its production chain. Large brands and corporations must be held accountable for violations and act with environmental, human rights and labor safeguards.
Defend the rights of traditional peoples; support access to justice for groups and communities affected by large-scale business action; and demand companies for a transparent production chain with protection of the environment and respect for work laws.
That all economic activity takes into account respect for the protection of human rights and environmental preservation throughout its production chain; that the state recognizes the environment as a fundamental right.
