Next Saturday at 4pm, Conectas and Sesc 24 de Maio are holding a free event, bringing together different figures to reflect on human rights, black and indigenous activism

On 2 and 3 December, the 7th Ideas Fair, hosted in a partnership between Conectas and Sesc 24 de Maio will be held in the city of São Paulo. This initiative is in commemoration of International Human Rights Day, on 10 December.

One of the highlights of the programme of the fair is the discussion circle “Anti-racism alliances: black and indigenous people in conversation”. Participating in the event, scheduled for Saturday (02) at 4pm, will be Jurema Werneck, executive director of Amnesty International Brasil and Maurício Terena, legal coordinator of APIB (Articulation of the Indigenous People of Brazil). Semayat Oliveira, a journalist on the podcast “Mano a Mano” and “Nós, Mulheres da Periferia” will be mediating.

In addition to the panel discussion, the 7th Ideas Fair will also feature 20 projects focusing on themes such as gender equity, LGBTQIA+ rights, menstrual poverty and anti-racism.
