The Lower House of Congress is expected this Tuesday, August 4, to vote in the second round the amendment to Constitutional Amendment 171/1993 that reduces the age of criminal responsibility from 18 to 16. The text was approved in the first round by 323 votes in early July, just 24 hours after being defeated by the house.

Once again, we need to join forces to combat this setback in the field of the rights of adolescents. Access the list of telephone numbers, email addresses and Twitter profiles of all the members of Congress who have social media accounts and help us pressure lawmakers to vote against the proposal.

The list also includes information on how members of Congress voted in the previous two sessions and shows which members changed their votes.

Also take part in the new Twitter campaign organized for this Tuesday, August 4, using the hashtag #SayNoToReduction.

Consult the list and demand the members of Congress from your state or party vote against reducing the age of criminal responsibility.
