Cine direitos humanos to show film on religious worship in Brazil

Screened at the 43rd International Film Festival, the documentary “Híbridos, os espíritos do Brasil” will be shown on Wednesday the 27th at Sesc 24 de Maio

On Wednesday, November 27, the project Cine Direitos Humanos, organized by Conectas in partnership with Sesc 24 de Maio, will screen the documentary “Híbridos, os espíritos do Brasil” (Hybrids, the spirits of Brazil) directed by Vincent Moon and Priscilla Telmon.

The documentary, which takes a contemplative look at the various different religions in Brazil and builds a sensory experience based on the music, was included in the 43rd São Paulo International Film Festival.

At the screening to be given at Sesc, Alexya Salvador, a pastor and member of ABRAFH (Brazilian Association of Homotransaffective Families) and the ayahuasquero Anna Mey will participate in a chat with the public after the documentary has been shown.

The films are free and no prior booking is needed, although there are a limited number of seats available.

Cine Direitos Humanos occurs every last Wednesday of the month and includes a debate between the actors, directors and experts after the screening.
