Conectas Human Rights receives seal of Transparent NGO

Conectas Human Rights received today the seal of Transparent NGO (Selo ONG Transparente) by Instituto Doar. The seal recognizes organizations that make a true effort in providing open information to the public, thus facilitating the decision to donate.

According to the institute, any non-governmental organization may receive the seal, as long as they comply to their “ten criteria for a Transparent NGO”. Information must be found easily on the organizations’ websites.

The ten criteria as defined by Instituto Doar are as follows: Facebook page, contact page, donation page, mission, projects and actions, geographic scope, statute, management and council boards, annual report and financial statements.
