Human Rights (Brazil), Centre for Human Rights of the University of
Pretoria (South Africa) and Centre for Legal and Social Studies (CELS,
Argentina) invite all interested parties to send in their contributions
for the Special Issue of the Sur Journal (N. 13, second semester of
2010) that will address the following issue:
Regional Mechanisms for the Protection of Human Rights.
Sur - International Journal on Human Rights
is published twice a year, distributed free of charge to approximately
2,700 readers in over 100 countries. It is edited in three languages:
English, Portuguese and Spanish, and can be fully accessed online at:
www.surjournal.org.
The
Journal aims at disseminating a Global Southern perspective on human
rights and to facilitate exchange among professors and activists
the Global South without disregarding contributions other regions.
SUR
is covered by the following abstracting and indexing services: IBSS
(International Bibliography of the Social Sciences); DOAJ (Directory of
Open Access Journals); Scielo and SSRN (Social Science Research
Network). In addition, SUR is also available at the following commercial
databases: EBSCO and HEINonline. SUR has been rated A1 and B1, in
Colombia and in Brazil (Qualis), respectively.
