Conectas and UNDEF sign project
For a period of two years, the project aims to strengthen the impact of southern human rights activists

In January 29th, Conectas and UNDEF - United Nations Fund for Democracy
signed and officially launched the project " Strengthening the Voice and
Impact of Southern Human Rights Advocates".

Through this project, Conectas will be able to sustain and strengthen the following activities:

An annual capacity-development program for Global South advocates the International Human Rights Colloquium;

Networking to promote collaborative activities; and
-
The biannual Sur International Journal on Human Rights, published in
English, Spanish and Portuguese, printed and also available online (
www.surjournal.org).
The organizations also signed a broader agreement in order to cooperate
for the achievement of both entities´ objectives, opening new
opportunities for collaboration for the promotion of democracy and for
the human rights protection.
