Two active networks have emerged from the Colloquia:

• HR Dialogue — A Human Rights Activists Network, comprised of close to 500 alumni of the International Human Rights Colloquia, allows alumni to maintain contact with each other and promotes joint actions in the human rights field
• Sur – Human Rights University Network —Over 150 academics and researchers involved in the promotion of human rights share information and develop joint education, research, and advocacy initiatives around such issues as human rights and trade policy, public security, and access to justice.

 The networks share an interactive web portal, www.conectasur.org, which comprises a database of members´ profiles, and allows online publication of news from network members.
