Examining the Effectiveness
of Constitutional Courts (IBSA Project)
Conectas is promoting a comparative
research project focused on India, Brazil
and South Africa (IBSA) to analyze the
effectiveness of Constitutional Courts
with respect to the promotion of human
rights in each country. Academics
from the three countries are working
over a period of 18 months to produce
a report (in English and Portuguese),
documenting precedents and legal strategies
adopted by civil society organizations
to protect rights in these countries.
